Privacy policy

Effective 29 September 2026 · private beta. This policy explains what Koach collects, why, who processes it, and your rights. Contact: rawipro.rl@gmail.com.

What Koach collects

• Account: your email address and sign-in data.
• What you tell Koach: your profile (schedule, goals, races, equipment), your answers to the health screen (including injury and medical history), check-ins and chat messages.
• What you authorise Koach to read from intervals.icu: activities and their recorded streams (heart rate, pace, power, cadence, GPS), wellness data (sleep, heart-rate variability, resting heart rate and other fields your devices report), your sport settings and thresholds, and your calendar of planned workouts.
• What Koach produces: readiness assessments, training plans, messages and coaching records.

Much of this is health data. Koach processes it only with your explicit consent, given when you sign up and connect intervals.icu. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see "Your rights").

Why

• To coach you: the daily readiness call, weekly plans, plan adjustments and replies to your check-ins.
• To put planned workouts on your intervals.icu calendar, which syncs them to your watch, and to update your training thresholds there when a test measures new ones.
• To keep the service working and safe: error logs, usage limits and abuse prevention.

Koach does not sell your data, show ads, or share your data for marketing.

Who processes it

• Supabase: database and sign-in, hosted in the Asia Pacific region.
• Fly.io: the service that runs the coaching jobs, hosted in the Asia Pacific region.
• Cloudflare: this website.
• Anthropic: the AI model (Claude) that writes the coaching. The data needed for each message or plan is sent to Anthropic's API and processed under its commercial terms, which exclude using it to train models. Anthropic processes data in the United States.
• intervals.icu: the source of your training data and where planned workouts are written. Its own privacy policy applies to your account there. Data that comes from Garmin devices is shown with Garmin attribution.

Your data may therefore be stored and processed outside your country: in the Asia Pacific region, and in the United States for AI processing. Where the law requires it, these transfers rely on the providers' data-processing terms, including standard contractual clauses.

How long it is kept

Your data is kept while your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is deleted within 30 days. Backups may keep it for up to 30 more days before they expire. Raw data read from intervals.icu is used for the job that needs it and is not kept as a separate copy.

Your rights

• See, export or correct your data, and delete your account: email the contact address above. The app adds self-service export and delete before public launch.
• Withdraw consent and disconnect intervals.icu at any time, in Koach or in your intervals.icu settings. Coaching stops when you do.
• Complain to your data-protection authority.

Security

Connections are encrypted. intervals.icu access tokens are stored encrypted. Each athlete can read only their own data, and access to the service is restricted.

Koach is an AI training assistant, not a doctor or physiotherapist. Its guidance is educational. Koach is for adults aged 18 and over.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. Significant changes are announced in the app.
